    The Best in the West

    Last year I traveled to Bishop to go on a horse drive for 7 days, from Mammoth to the Owens Valley. After that experience I returned to Bishop for one night before returning to Sacramento. While staying in Bishop, I looked up places to eat, and found Mahogany Smoked Meats. I have been a lover of jerky ever since discovering it as a young girl, in a "five and dime store" in Southern California. I have become an "aficionado" ever since. When I saw the variety of jerky at Mahogany I felt I had arrived in Nirvana.

    I already knew what I was looking for, Slab jerky, dried without "sauces". I immediately bought 60.00 worth, anxious to share the "gold discovery" with my husband. And that my friends has started my love affair with Mahogany. I now order online, and have experienced the joy of the "Indian Jerky" too, which has become a favorite as well. Kudos to Mahogany Smoked Meats. May they stay in business for future jerky lovers like me.
