German landjäeger sausage is a semi-dried sausage that’s traditionally found in Southern Germany, in addition to Switzerland and Austria. It’s popular on hiking trips and just as an everyday snack food. Historically, soldiers regularly ate it, as it does not require refrigeration and can be used as a meal. In Germany, it’s often boiled and served with greens and potatoes.

For the taste of Germany on your next camping trip, hiking expedition or any other outdoor activity, enjoy our landjäeger sausages. Like our hot sticks, these German sausage sticks have a slightly smoked flavor with a hint of caraway seed.

We have landjäeger for sale in a 16-ounce package, with approximately five sticks per pound.
