Our Shank Half Ham is smoked low and slow over mountain mahogany embers, resulting in the mouthwatering smoky flavors that made us famous. This cut is perfect for breakfast meat, thick lunchtime sandwiches, or a showstopping main course for dinner.

Our mahogany smoked Bone-In Shank Half Ham has slightly less meat than our Butt Half Ham cut but includes the hock, which we highly recommend saving to add flavor to your favorite soup or bean recipe later. This shank half ham weighs between 9 and 10 pounds with the bone in so that you can serve approximately 10 with plenty of leftovers.

    THE BEST HAM-E-V-E-R

    I have indeed enjoyed Mahogany ham slices previously and they were delicious. However, this was the first

    time that I purchased a Shank Ham Half. It was simply fabulous. I believe the “bone -in” made a huge difference with the flavor. We certainly will be purchasing another Shank Ham Half- for sure.
